Meet the Cast

Chef Rootsworth

Cooking is a time-honored talent that often runs in families, which is exactly how Rootsworth got his start. He's cooked for sailors, warriors, miners, and could easily stew for royalty if he had the desire, but he is content to live his life cooking for the good beasts of Lilygrove... unless, perhaps, his friends persuade him to aim higher.

Dorabella Ivywain

One of Lilygrove's "upper crust," Dorabella runs the general store and her own home with strength and competence. Though she's the first to admit there's not a creative bone in her body, she's sharp and efficient, and she knows when to rely on others when her work (and her cooking!) needs a more creative touch.

Robin Springhunter

The leader of the Lilygrove Scouts, Robin holds a position of considerable honor in the village. He is not harsh but he does take his job seriously, expecting his fellow scouts to do the same. A long-time friend of Rootsworth, he wants to see the chef finally recognize his own talent.

Coyle Twiddlebin

Coyle is the second in command of the scouting team and very supportive of “youngsters” taking up the profession. A mentor to young Laban, he sees the mouse has a real knack for food. If only Rootsworth would consider taking on an apprentice...

Laban Rushwittles

A thoughtful, deliberating type, Laban is a senior Scout and a hard worker. He's always loved to cook, and lately he's been having a lot of fun trying new things. Perhaps he could learn a thing or two under the fatherly tutelage of Rootsworth.
